I prefer the chrome finish as well. when did lucasfrancis studio do this?
I like what they did with the dome on the alien head. I would love the hcg version to look more like this (the 1:1 alien statue).

Hey Guys!!!
Heads up!!!
My importer has just told me that the 60" HK has landed and has just processed my credit card payment.
He said I will need a fork lift and a truck. I don't think he is kidding either. LOL
Might need a renta.....truck just to collect it.
What the hell were we thinking? LOL
Very excited and anticipaty.........

That was the original being molded to produce the replica. When we say "molded from the original", we mean it!
Shiny chromed finish was not possible I am afraid. Too high a scrap rate & the factory won't do it. The finish is the same as the 20" Flying HK.
Vader - you should see the final paint on our Alien dome....you will love it!
