Hopefully XM is still tweaking the base. I really don't like the surfing look. I expect better from XM and I know you guys can rise to the occasion. Right now this piece is a pass for me.

At close to $1,000 a pop when shipped to me, I need to be wowed by each piece for me to bite. Everyone's mileage will vary, of course.

Yeah as of now I'm with you Viper as this base just says Meh instead of wow!! And that's OK as I have three figures coming out May - August! Should probably be responsible and work on getting these paid first...

Ugh hope this changes soon otherwise I am going to have to pass on this being my 1 (and first) iron man statue. At least there is the sweet battle damaged hulk buster that someone put out that I can get if this one does not payout.

Agree with the sentiments expressed above. At near 1k a pop or more, there's no way I'm pulling the trigger on a piece I only half enjoy.

if both of the legs are located on the same beam then making it look like surfing .... only if his other leg can be rested on a different object to twist his landing position to make it look more dynamic and not too simplistic....
But anyway I have pre-ordered and have no plan to retreat!
