Long term this may reflect badly on JND pre-orders due to concerns around future revisions.

I have always said once the pre-order is open you should get what is advertised as some customers who pre-ordered are up ultimately left disappointed. If a company wants to change a head sculpt then the NRD should be fully refundable.

Yeah, in the jnd he's slightly looking to the right side instead of straight, so the only image from that angle with the new pics showed more of a frontal view of his face.

JND should make Reeve's eye's larger. They look too squinty.
The portrait on the right has better hair. The portrait on the left looks better. Neither look spot on likeness wise, both being about 15 - 20% off.

I imagine it would only be in extreme cases where the product changed significantly from the original prototype - that customers would have a solid argument for a full refund - I'm talking about something like Harley Quinn being the prototype, and Captain America being the production - a silly example, for sure - but that's the degree of change were someone would likely be able to back out and get their NRD......

That would be very disappointing for those who dislike this new head sculpt. The previous HS may not have been perfect and the expression and other small details not to the liking of some. However, the likeness to Reeves was far greater.

The revised portrait looks more like Jack Reacher dude imo. Many believe this revised HS is a downgrade. It’s not what they signed up for. People should get their deposits back for this stunt. There shouldn’t be any losers in this case. Win/win for everyone, deposits refunded for those who dislike the revised HS and a new HS for those who love it more.

Spec Fiction what are you guys going to do with deposits for this and those who want to cancel?
