I think the COH will have open and closed mandibles that switch out at the mouth. The artist's profile video showed the closed mandibles sculpted separately from the head.

I imagine that was just for construction purposes, the bio was probably sculpted over a simplified unmasked head minus the mandibles etc. Switch out mandibles would likely leave an ugly seam unless they have been very clever with the engineering. But I may be wrong of course.

Other then that misplaced armour on the right thigh, the piece looks pretty good.

That netting bothers me so much, makes it look like a neca figure. Hopefully that gets fixed along with the leg armor on this otherwise perfect piece

Long story short, if the leg armour stays in that position on the production pieces, you will not be moving it.
As complaints go, it has nothing on the P2 maquette, clearly Sideshow listened and learned and produced something very good here. They may even alter that bit if we're lucky, probably an over site that nobody picked up on until it was revealed to us picky masses. I came to like the P2 maquette tbh, but I wish it looked as good as this.

Thanks for the insight, Python. Hopefully Sideshow will take the necessary steps to make sure the problem is fixed on the production run. It's too glaring of an issue to just ignore.

I'd rather have real netting that painted on netting. Painting it leaves too much room for sloppy work from the factory.

Agreed. The painted on netting on the 1/5ths left a lot to be desired. I just can't believe that this is the best option as far as the diamond size goes
