Look at it this way: the Court of the Dead line will have a very high ES, they'll be available for a long time both to retailers and in the aftermarket. Mark my words, none of them will have high aftermarket value, unless Sideshow pulls a few backflips on some of them. SS wants to maximize profit and has probably already planned another wave of characters to follow the ones we have already seen. Many people have the WOW factor now about the Court (me included) but when it comes to actually bring them into collection a couple will surely step back, many will have other priorities like Marvel, DC, Star Wars and more radicated and loved licenses.
I'm more or less in your situation, only, I'm not really a comic geek so I can settle with 2-3 main pieces by XM. If XM gets the Star Wars license, I'm pretty much f***ed.
I do like fantasy, tho, a lot, so I'm all in for Conan, Court of the Dead, Weta Balrog, Berserk. And PCS has me locked for 1:3 cyborgs. In all of this, the Court line is the one I'm not worried about, knowing I'll be able to lock the ones I want (about 7) very easily, while almost all the others are going to have limited ES and will require a good amount of effort.
