The question is: When will Street Fighter - Laura Matsuda show up in statue form? which company will deliver the goods 1st?

I have a feeling PCS will deliver at some point, not in 1/3 form but possibly 1/8th maybe 1/4 scale.

Prime 1 i'm sure will deliver, only once they'be released the usual suspects Ken, Ryu, Chun-Li etc

Then there's various other companies creating Street Fighter merchandise.

I started to play Street Fighter II at Arcade at the age of 7 and i'm a fan ever since. (i'm 33 years old) But i don't have any pop culture shock statues (at least yet) they are super expensive so i just have action figures of Ken and Ryu, two of my favorites. I may get a Ryu statue someday but i haven't seen a Ryu statue that i can't live without yet.

I collect Street Fighter comics and manga and i read the Udon published Street Fighter Classic vol. 1 : Hadoken not long ago. And i want to make a little summary.

It was an action pact fun read. Started out as short stories which were connected to each other and later on the long stories which were connected to the short stories came in. Story Started with Ryu defeating Sagat. Sagat believed that he lost his honour with the defeate and started to search a new path to regain his honour. Ryu and Ken's master Gouken was murdered by his own brother Akuma and afterwards Akuma defeated Ryu and Ken in a humiliatingly easy way but left them alive cause he realised Ryu can be a great opponent to him seeing the dark hado in Ryu... And gave Ryu a chance to become an exceptional fighter till the next Street Fighter Tournamet where they will fight again

So Ryu started to travel the world with his new apprantece Sakura to become a better fighter and defeat Akuma. And then there's the Cammy's story, when she was a doll with the code name ''killer bee'' ( a doll is a mindless servant of Bison who biocamicaly engineered in a tube and stuff) and by the help of a fortune teller soccerer she was saved from the terrorist organisation Shadoolu (Shadoolu is a global terrorist organisation which is rulled by Mr. Bison) and later after she got out of Shadoolu's control, and lost her memory, she joined to MI-6's crimson fox special operations team.

There's The Guile's story; Guile looked for his mentor and friend Charlie who was lost in a past mission. While he was seaching for Charlie his path crossed with Chun Li, an interpol agent who looked for her Father who was lost in a past mission. They stated to seach together and found out that Chun's father was dead and Charlie was alive. Charlie even helped them defeat Mr. Bison by regaining his memory and getting out of Bison's control... Then chun quited Interpol and had some me time... then came back to Interpol and anxiously restarted to work to take The Shadoolu down. Her path crossed with Fei Long and she asked Gen's help to take down The Hong Kong section of Shadoolu and succeeded at that with them by taking down the crime boss sisters who worked with Shadoolu at Hong Kong. And they all learned that Shadoolu scientists have been working on a secret super weapon of mess destruction, and shadoolu scientists were about to finish it.

This basic presentation and info was shared a year ago, I believe, but it's interesting - so wanted to post it for those who haven't seen it.

Of particular interest to me, due to recent conversations had here on the forum, are points he makes regarding the reasoning behind exaggerated proportions, and also character heights/scale. There's more to these issues than is immediately obvious.

I know it's off topic, but is anyone excited for Dragon Ball Fighter Z? It's kind of funny how most comments are "end of SFV" or "killing MvCI before it's released" on Youtube videos. Honestly, I'm not a hardcore fighting gamer(besides Fight Night which is way different), but this game looks and is animated beautifully! I really haven't felt much love for any fighting game's art direction since MvC2(which this clearly gets it's inspiration from with 3v3). I almost can't stand to look at the new MvC the visuals and designs are so bad imo. Is anyone else hyped for this? I know a lot of pro players have been complaining how casual SFV has become, hopefully this could bring some new motivation for Capcom to step up their game. What do you guys think?

Extremely excited. I agree with most of your comments. I love and play mostly pixel art games, so of course loved MvC 1 and 2, but I also happened to really like 3's art style. MvC:I though, looks absolutely awful to me, and the character selection sucks.

Everything about this screams perfect fit - from the developer, to play style, to art style.

I'm very disappointed with the impact the PCS management team has had on the Statue Forum community in the PCS thread.

Things abruptly changed, not for the better.

There was 10+ years of history in this section. All feels pretty meaningless at the moment.

Glad PCSRebecca still posts.

Furthermore I'm in touch with several long time pcs collectors that feel the same way.

Twitter and Instagram basically get random artwork posts.

Statue Forum is a shadow of its former self.

The existing FB page (that can be viewed publicly) is in a lurch.

As far as I can tell only the New FB group has active participation and updates.

How is that a "Social Media Army"?

If The surgical extraction of customers that don't want to register for FB was the goal, I'd say mission accomplished.

This is hardly the type of change I was hoping for in my favorite Statue manufacturer.

Peace.

I for one am happy that there is an official PCS FB group. It's much more accessible than a forum, and overall easier to quickly share information. However, I do agree the information should be equally distributed between all outlets, which hopefully changes soon.

I prefer fb. As for the not wanting to make a profile not sure why; you can make some bogus email and fill out all the fields with bogus names and everything if one doesn't like their info out there which I understand.

So the change to the company, in the way it affects me personally, is having to create "bogus accounts" to view their previews and have interaction with the company.

No thanks, I'll take it the way it was previously. Just because they wanted to create a New group, doesn't mean all other media groups should be shunned.

The old FB page could be viewed publicly. Why not the New one?

And pardon my skepticism but Jerry's track record for hiring at PCS isn't stellar.

We've had the Customer service people "lying to him" or just being fired and replaced. Issues with shipping and handling, QC staff.

Don't get me started on the Web Designers .

I'm honestly not sure about the choices of these "industry veterans". Hopefully Jerry hired the correct decision makers.

Because thus far the "Social Media Amy" has failed to impress.
