Thanks for sharing everyone! We put up some photos on Instagram tonight and we’ll be definitely sharing fan photos too. So far the response has been very positive across the net.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

The way this head look in these pictures is mind-blowing to me.. this is simply the JP T. rex i always wanted, once repainted will be my favourite depiction of this animal for a very long time no doubt.
Many, many thanks to Jonathan Chu for making this dream come true.

Now if only i could login to CC site or better yet get an invoice..

Still have to wait a couple of weeks for mine.
I believe tamaboy when he says it looks better in person and those freaking spots are blended in more properly than what we see in photos.
To be honest the recently posted pictures make my stomach turn, lol. All the subtle nuances in the paint are lost in those washed out pictures.
The only flattering photos I've seen are on page 32.These give you a better idea how it looks in person.

I've found that the production pieces look far better in person. I mean, I just took delivery of the male bust on Wednesday, and while they look good in photos, they look WAY more impressive in person. That's just the reality of these things. I will have mine today after work. I will post pics when I have a chance.

On a side note, I originally intended on being a 1/5 bust collector and purchase what they were releasing. I guess I half expected the 1/5 Spino bust to be next after Rexy, but they went with the Triceratops. I'm on the fence, as I'm kinda of "meat eater" focused. I'm wondering if they have any intention of releasing 1/5 scales of the Raptors.....that would be killer, since I missed the JP raptor and not sure I want to jump on the Lost World Raptor...the only 1 to 1 I'm really interested in is the Dilophosaurus...and I've heard rumblings they have the 1:1 of that and it could be a future release.....

1/5 busts of the raptors would be way too small...imo 1/2 scale for a raptor bust would be the bare minimum to have some kind of impact.
Bigger dinos (T-rex,Spino,Triceratops,Stego) in 1/5 scale and smaller dinos(Raptor;Dilophosaurus;T-rex infant, etc) in 1/1 scale are perfect for busts.
You can expect 2 spitter busts in 1/1 scale.

Looking forward to your pictures of the female T-rex bust.

What I'm seeing is a lack of depth and layering in the paint job.

As is, the dots stand out like a sore thumb (like the 1/20 Breakout Statue). But if there was more layering and a couple more wash coats, the dots wouldn't stick out as bad as they do.

I’d agree with that, looks like they started the paint job and then stopped halfway through.
