Well the pieces have arrived but some damage sadly as expected. Mainly three front teeth out on the T Rex. Bumper off and chipped from the car. Fence broken. All repairable luckily but still a shame. The piece however does look brilliant so I am glad to have it in the collection.

All the standard stuff then. Still, nothing a bit of good quality glue won’t fix. Most of it will be hidden. I’m glad you’re at least happy with it, you made the right choice!

yes definitely, I think its the best way to capture the best scene from the movie and I think this will be a highly desirable piece for fans in the future too. the scale of the t rex is great as is the minor detailing.

Yes this one is a keeper. Interestingly you get a nice movie poster or rather card drawing with it but no cert of authenticity of any kind. Also no instructions that I can see????? Is it me or have I not looked closely enough in the boxes? It looks simple enough to put together anyway. Just wondered if there were any instructions on how to assemble it?

I have never seen assembly instructions with a statue, not even Treebeard... though Weta did shortly after release a rather hurried assembly video.

So everyone with broken parts... are you contacting Iron Studios? Would you seek some compensation?

I would like to get set A but I would need to sell my AP Treebeard... if there are any takers

I will be going through my distributor who got the diorama for me from Iron Studios. So I have sent photos of the damage along with a description to see if I can get some money back for the repair work. No point replacing the pieces, just as much chance of the same damage occurring again. Its all minor luckily so nothing which cannot be fixed.

Is iron studios good to deal with directly? has anyone received replacement parts from them?
