I find it interesting how DSC went with a non shiny black area around the middle area of the body.

I'm happy for anyone who likes this piece, but for me the unmasked portrait looks nothing like M.P. and the masked portrait looks cheaply painted.....

That was another thing I was curious about because I looked back at some reference photos and it didn?t seem like that section was like this in the movie. I wonder why they did that

Yep, the matte corset on this does stick out, strange choice

It was less shiny than the rest of the suit for sure, but they took the matte effect too far here. On the flip side, I think the P1 corset is too shiny.

Yep. I agree the actual corset looks to be less shiny than the rest of the costume. But it’s not matte either.

I guess people could mask off the area, and using a spray can, apply a satin gloss coat to it, to give it a semi gloss coat.

Pretty sure I've seen set images showing the corset surprisingly matte in finish. Regardless, I want screen accuracy, not IRL set accuracy. I think the still looks good... want to see in hand pics.

I think the unmasked portrait looks more like Michelle than the masked does, but I hate the way they painted her hair. It isn't the right color either.

Hair colour has always been a sticking point with many movie based statues, especially where multiple colours and shades are involved.
