Yea, I really don't see a "Wonder Woman" in this piece.
I don't see Wonder Woman in her portrait at all and really don't see it in her body/build.
However, I do see a nice piece and I do see a piece that may have been better off in an all red star spangled body suit with gold stars and no tiara.
I think that would have made for a sweet Wonder Girl.
Again, not to take away from the sculpt at all nor the paint applications. I just don't see a "Wonder Woman" here. I guess if I really stretch, I can see that the build looks a little like Gal Gadot's at the start of her Wonder Woman on screen career as I always thought she was fairly slim as a Wonder Woman. Tall,.......yes.......but still a little slim. Especially after seeing quite a few of her Amazonian sisters on the island. Many of those actresses really looked like true Wonder Women types.
But alas, this is just my opinion is all.
Is the sculpt cool....yes!
Is the paint nice....yes!
Is the statue and concept cool....yes!
Overall cool piece.
For me, the OG Wonder Woman from Sideshow (as far as Sideshow 1/4 scale pieces so far go) Is still the best representation of what I feel WW should look like.
It would be cool to see what a conversion of this piece would turn out like to become Donna.
Again, congrats to those who have her. Still a very nice piece.
