No way Zangief should be much taller!

Hopefully the newer releases address the kown scale issues with the older pieces.

Great pic tho

I know a lot of people say this, but I disagree. If you have the statue look at it from the side. His legs are almost parallel to the floor and his upper back is severely hunched. When I place him next to sagat, I feel that he would be the same height if he stood straight.

He should definitely be bigger. Zangief is taller then Sagat when standing up straight, and mass wise much bigger. It looks like he would be a little shorter then Zangief if he was standing up straight, or at best the same height. (canon wise he is a couple inches smaller I think, but from what you see ingame he is bigger).

Sagat is actually taller than Zangief.

Sagat 7'4"

Zangief 7'0"

The SF4 models sometimes appear shorter or taller based on foreshortening (Who's standing closer to the camera). Watch Hakan during his win stances. He goes from Honda size to near Hugo size when he walks forward.

The issue with the Zangief PF isn't scale. The scale is fine.

The issue is the terrible pose! It makes the Hulking Behemoth look like the dwarf from Lotr.

It's a shame because otherwise its a masterpiece. Sculpt and mixed media are flawless. The boot laces are icing on the cake!

But c'mon, you cannot do Zangief and make him shorter than Ken and Cammy!

Here's hoping HUGO will be a complete Skyscraper! T.Hawk as well!

Edit. It looks like the training stage may also be shifting a bit, based on them standing closer to the P2 side. See how the center red line is diagonal and the lines above Sagat's head cannot be seen. A center screen comparison would be more helpful.
