Shallow Grave is my favourite of the Boyle films, and besides the relative wobbles of A Life Less Ordinary and The Beach he hasn't made a bad movie. Looking forward to seeing 127 Hours.

Millions is awesome. It's got the best high octane heist sequence in a kids film I've ever seen!

I'm surprised at all the not Tim Burton votes. He's directed more good movies than bad ones. Here's how I'd divide them:

GOOD:
Pee-wee's Big Adventure
Beetle Juice
Batman
Edward Scissorhands
Batman Returns
Ed Wood
Sleepy Hollow
Big Fish
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Corpse Bride
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

NOT SO GOOD:
Mars Attacks! (a guess since it's the only Burton film I haven't seen)
Planet of the Apes
Alice in Wonderland

And even Planet of The Apes, I'd say was okay and not terrible.

I agree. but he doesnt ask for 50billion dollars and the keys to the city an 50% of a movies take like a lot of others seem to. No matter how good a director is they are only one part of a whole.
