I'm the sculptor of this helmet. I modeled it after after the 1:2 sideshow bust.
It's gelcoated fiberglass and the faceplate and lower rear panel are held in place with ceramic magnets.
I've lurked here for a long time and admired the wealth of talent. Thanks for the compliments and kind words.

I don't have many more pics than the ones already posted, but here's a WIP one:
This is a pic of the first rough cast from a plaster waste mold. The face is that of the Monster makers bust I used for an armature and I removed it before making the silicone mold.

I'm a middle school art teacher in Wisconsin; now that the weather is cooling off and school has started, I don't really have the free time or facilities to run fiberglass until next spring.
I have done other 1:1 comic and movie prop sculpts and will post pics soon.
