Yeah, I started PMing sellers on both Amazon and eBay asking to see if they've opened the statues. If they hadn't and wouldn't do it, I told them that there are a lot of QC issues and that I would choose another seller instead, no matter how low their prices might be.

Is that how you've been getting your statues? Amazon and/or eBay?
Have you tried pre-ordering through DCBS or BBTS? I imagine there is a difference.
I have over 30 statues from DC Collectibles from 2007 to now and I haven't had any major issues.
