Does anyone know how Fedex calculates the VAT charges ?
It's just that i got an invoice through today for the Alien warrior statue and they've charged me £35.62 VAT (£46.12 total) for a $250 statue, yet 6 months ago when i got a bill for a $250 purchase from Fedex it was only £30.50 VAT (£40 total).
Is it cos' of the exchange rate, maybe ?

Yeah, there is no duty added this time. Just £5 difference in the VAT.

How did you challenge duty?
So your saying that you have never paid vat for any sideshow product made from polystone with the above code?
Because I have just received a bill from Fedex for Dutch and it uses the code above and I believe previous items have used the same code

They can only charge you vat and duty applicable to your country. You should contact your customs to find out what that is or check online.

I argued that i never had to pay duty on any previous invoices.
We have a customs tax (which i have paid on all SS pieces) and there is also Duty which i think is another 3-4%. Its just another way customs use to get even more money from you depending on what code you have.
