This statue looks amazing… Definitely a different and long-awaited pose for the character!
Question please... have any of you had experience with ordering directly from Prime 1?
I have only ever ordered their wonderful products through SS...Any insight would be fantastic

P1’s LOTR character choices so far haven’t impressed me. Not to say that any of them look bad, they actually look pretty great, they’re just nothing we haven’t seen before multiple times from the likes of Weta and Sideshow. Would be nice to see something more original. I’ll stick with my Lurtz PF.

Fair enough, on it’s own Weta has indeed covered most everything at this point. That said each of the four 1:4 scale P1 offerings have also been done in that scale by Sideshow. A lot of collectors interested in this line collected those PF’s, Sideshow’s now defunct Maquette line and/or Weta’s line. It seems a wise move to draw in those collectors by mixing in some highly requested characters (Gimli for example) along with these.
