Looks great...I'm totally jealous of your remodeling skills. Personally, I have trouble hanging a picture straight.


What exactly are the orange pieces that appear to be bolted to the studs in the wall that hold up the shelves? What are they called?

Depth and height of each shelf?
Will you have the shelves covered with some kind of glass or plexiglass?
Looks like you really tackled the weight issue with those metal brackets.

The orange pieces are the iron structure. They are orange because I painted it with a antioxide product.

Yes, the shelves will be covered in glass (sliding doors) in front and mirrors behind.

Yes, the shelves will be covered in glass (sliding doors) in front and mirrors behind.

loving the WIPs ... keep em coming!

sliding glass doors in the way to go ... I just found some nice large display cases this year with sliding glass doors that lock ... much nice than my detolfs

this is going to look spectacular!

WOW! That is plenty of space for some non-crowded displays. You must have a powerful collection. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for this to reach the final stage. This is exactly what I want to do for my collection. The suspense is immense!
