He's pretty consistent as far as design goes. I would definitely prefer MK9 so that he is all sculpt and has a cool base. If we're lucky maybe even the throne he creates in his win animation, though that's probably stretching it.

I'd love Quan Chi, but I think he's as unlikely as Ermac.
Jerry's MK9 poll gives me the vibe I'm not gonna see a character I want for a loooong time.

I think we won't see Quan Chi till mk10. The end of mk9 point towards Shinnok and Quan Chi taking centre stage as the villains in the next game so we can hope.
That said, I want a Shang Tsung statue!
