After watching that video on how they went about the art for the game and the attention that went into it, as long as the height difference does not make him appear "smaller". If it turns out that a lower base has that affect, keep the bases the same.

This results in a 'real life' Sagat being 8'2" (249cm) tall, which is a little bigger than he is supposed to be.
But thats because the SF 1:3 line is slightly larger than 1:3 scale, as anyone with an Akuma can tell you.
So my question is...
All of the 1:3 have the same height base, should Sagat also continue that ? If so then he is going to end up being about 41" (104cm) tall with the base.

That's more than "a little"... :P
So you're saying it's already been hand sculpted and it's not feasible to adjust? I didn't think Akuma was that far off, height-wise.
No matter the height, I say keep the bases about the same. More important than base height is base design though... to me anyway.

Im not that into the lore / stats behind the story, how tall is he supposed to be?
Then I would say maybe a slightly lower base could be used to lower him to the "correct" height.

Not sure what Jerry's "Capcom info" might say, but 7'5"/7'6".

I don't think Sagat needs a base that tall.

I agree with this 5000%. Don't limit your creativity on the base because of height.

Omg this looks like it may happen- must own

Consistency is fine in height, but please no consistency in design. Those bases on akuma and ryu are terrible. good to see new direction at least with Chun li
