Ah, okay - I didn't know that.
If this was 1/3 and not a throne a piece, I'd be looking for the pre-order button.

Trend? Yes. Current? Eh I guess it?s still a thing because some people still seem obsessed with it. Just like all trends it?s completely overdone and annoying at this point. I almost want to sell my Thanos maquette just so I don?t have a single throne statue in my collection

This whole "On Throne" trend first started with the Sideshow Dr. Doom on throne statue, that was a big hit. Then XM did a Magneto on throne piece that really blew it open if my memory serves me right. You got Museum posed, Dynamic posed, Diorama's, Busts and On Throne statue's. What's next? Thanos on toilet?

Throne = grail, I remember that. Indeed, I think it started with the Dr Doom PF. In those days that was the only game in town for high end Marvel, higher end than a Bowen. The ES number had to be low enough to spike to grail status when it did, and somewhere the idea stuck that enthroned figures are to be grails

Well, all i have to say for this statue is "Love it or Leaf it".

(And BTW, I WOULD buy a Thanos on the toilet just to say i'd have one)
