Same here. Unfortunately it ruins the statue for me, I think. I know it may be NATURAL, but it looks awkward...it's like Doom was "captured in the moment" right as he was kicking an empty beer can away from his throne or something. Except the can is curiously missing from the sculpt.
Awesome piece otherwise though. That foot just bugs the crap out of me. Maybe his left leg could have been brought in some so the foot could have rested flatly on the base. Oh well....

Hey guys, thanks a lot for the comments and critics!
About his size, let me see.....is according to the rest of the milestone line, the figure is something like 12", the throne is 12" too, from the bottom of the base to the top of those spikes, and it is wide is a little more than 11". Hope this helps.
again thanks to all for the comments! It was really great to have the chance to sculpt again a character I love!

Looking at those promo pics from various angles in the first post, I never realized how awesome this statue is.
It looks just as good as that Sideshow one I saw a few months back.

I missed this post the first time around. The sculpt looks a lot better than the early promo shot I recall seing, though I still think I prefer the SideShow piece.
