The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Why in the hell didn't they include the first row of tubes on the back just like sideshow did with the Alien Warrior??? Without them the piece seems to be incomplete in my opinion...

The back absolutly goes far enough down that they should be there.

*Edit: I just looked at a TON of pics of the original screen used costume and as it turns out, the tubes SHOULD NOT be there. The tubes on the original alien are set much lower on the back than the Alien Warrior's. HCG did an incredible job with accuracy on this piece. Just ordered mine!!! Now I'm just hoping I'm not disappointed when it arrives.

Also, is this piece made from polystone as well???

I'd like to get this one but with the Predalien bust (probably) coming around the same time. I doubt I could afford both at the same time.
Does anybody have pics of past HCG busts? The factory paint on the Space Jockey turned out very plain. I'd hate to order this one and be disappointed.

I sincerely hope not. If it were solid polystone it would weigh well over 100lb. Usually these are made out of fiberglass with some resin/polystone used on things like the teeth.

This is their first. Unless you're referring to their legendary scale pieces.

As Dekind has said above, the majority of the bust will probably be cast in fibreglass.

That somewhat disturbs me... Begs the question, Will this bust be worth dropping 1k on???

I prefer that they did it in polystone (Sideshow's Warrior).

For the price these things should weigh at least 25Kgs.

The Warrior bust is very much the same, produced from a mix of both fibreglass and polystone.

I have no doubt this will have some weight to it.
