The initial reaction from most collector was to rush for akuma. ATM I like Shin better, the white hair and white kanji on the back rock, imho the only thing that the REG has over shin are the ropes and that's looks like an easy customisation

White hair and white kanji are 'easy' customisations. Removing sculpted gloves to replace with rope, not so much...

I give the base, the eyes, the rope gloves and the rope belt to Akuma.

On Shin, I give it the white hair and kanji against the darker body.

IMO the regular wins considerably but again that's just me.

Also it appears they have improved the paint scheme for the regular since the 1/4th piece. Yeah I love ther darker skin tone. But the regular now appears more life like. Look at the skin marks and blemishes.

Awesome stuff.

BTW Carrot Top has very white skin whereas even the regular AKuma has tanned skin.
