This portrait in person was the best female portrait I've ever seen. Stunning.
The FP base didn't actually bother me as much as I thought it would. Nothing like the Samurai Logan FP base. I hope they give us the option to at least remove the moon.
All that said, I'm not even a Psylocke fan and I'm heavily considering ordering. She looked that dope.

I've been hearing this "FP" acronym being used a lot. What does it mean?

Psylocke fans are lucky. They have had two homerun PFs back to back. (And you all know which version of the previous Psylocke I'm talking about.)

I really loved this statue at SDCC, I asked but about the removing the stone lantern from the base. But they couldn't provide any information since its the prototype, but did say they usually try to make it one piece.
Tho I imagine to avoid breaks, the base and stone lantern will be two pieces.
I only have the X-force figure which I mostly only love cause the portrait, but I rather have the actual blue costume. If people start selling the last pf with the regular portrait for cheap, i may repurchase it.
That or I may consider just having an X-force line up, tho usually try to avoid purchasing two PF's of one character.

Forced perspective is a photography technique that uses the space between your subjects to create an interesting or unusual relationship between them. This photography trick manipulates the viewer's perception of the space and distance between two objects, creating an optical illusion.
Some of the statues currently using this technique in 3d look awkward, or in some cases downright bad, when not viewed from the intended FP angle. So basically you have to view the statue from just one angle only for the FP to make sense.
It works great in 2 dimensions, not so much in 3.

Using this statue as an example: The buildings and moon are sculpted small to give the illusion they’re in the far off distance because in real life things are smaller in the distance. That’s forced perspective.
