No amount of statue engineering can beat gravity. If it doesn't lean after a few months, just give it more time. It will eventually.

There've been larger, heavier pieces though that have been erect for very long periods of time.

If the key is solid, and it's going in diagonally, it physically cannot lean unless the key cracks or the key hole is too large. I just don't see this leaning. The weight is also balanced in the photos. Any leaning would be so minimal we're talking millimeters here.

Are people genuinely that concerned?

Gambit isn't leaning, Magneto Maquette isn't leaning, X-23 isn't leaning, same with brimstone Thor...Rogue was leaning a bit but eventually stupid because the key physically stops it from leaning any further. I don't get the concern over this one...

Exactly. If they can engineer Zatanna to be completely resting on a single ankle, Dazzler's entire calf plugging into the base should be no problem.
