Mine arrived today while I was at work and is the perfect end to the day. I'm fekkin lovin it. The Cel Shaded variant turned out to be a great choice and in person this nostalgic paint app hits me right in the feels.

However, the stand-out of this variant and what really makes it POP is the small but memorable finishing touch of adding Hogarth. He really does turn what I thought was a very good piece into easily one of my personal favourites and a keeper.

He's a wee thing. A little under under two inches.

He arrived yesterday, but so did another statue so I didn't unbox him until today.
This statue is incredible! I didn't like the look of the original version at all, but this is much more faithful to the movie and makes me so happy I didn't buy the first. Hogarth really helps to add scale to him. It's also way bigger than I expected and I expected huge! Also, the feet on mine fit very firmly with no wobble.

(One thing is the power switch is actually incorrect on mine, so I have to set mine to 'off' for it to turn on, haha)

I wish Hogarth was interacting more with the giant. Maybe leaning on him or or putting his legs up on his shoulder. He’s just standing there like he was an afterthought to the statue. He looks like someone just bought a figure and stuck him on.

He's matching the Iron Giant's pose.
