If I still had my 1/4 I'd trade it for another 1/3 in a second.

Not yet though in the future I would say probably more likely. Todays approximate market values for the four PCS Akuma's are listed below.

1/4 Akuma $2000
1/4 Shin Akuma $2500

1/3 Akuma $1600
1/3 Shin Akuma $1100

I would say at release you should be in a position to swap a 1/3 Akuma for 1/4 Akuma. if I missed out on the 1/3 and had the 1/4 I would bite your arm off!

1:4 shin Akuma is more in the USD $3,000 to $3500 range. Haven't seen him go for 2500 in quite a while now.

Based on sales Paulik people advertise him for $3500 but he does not sell for this. The last two Shins I have seen gone were $2500 and $2600 + one at $2000 which had no COA.

You may of course get the odd one where someone is prepared to pay the $3000 if he is mint in box, no bead rubs with COA and perhaps never displayed.

I pay attention to this stuff this is what they are currently selling for (perhaps not advertised on ebay for) but selling for!

I mean people will pay $2500 for Shin Akuma today no problem. They will not pay $3500-$6500 which is what you sometimes find him advertised for.

Likewise someone will purchase your Zangief Reg for $1500 no problem. They will not pay the $3000 which you often see him advertised for.

There was a thread for Price Evolution which we kept updated in the past. It's always a little subjective but perhaps I will re-visit it.

i wouldn't trade the 1/4 for the 1/3, the 1/4 is essential for the 1/4 line and it is very very difficult to come by now.

I hunted down some data ....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Shin-Ak...557&rmvSB=true

& Equi-Nox sold one of his duplicate Shins recently for 2450 Euro thats also circa $2600

So approximate market 'Selling' value for 1/4 Shin today is $2600.

Approximate market 'Selling' value for the Akuma Reg 1/3 Pre-Order today is $1600.

At the moment there is a $1000 difference between the two which I imagine will close to around $0 a few years post release of the 1/3
