Thanks for the compliment.
Yeah I floated mine in a glass trap. If I hadn't I'd have just gone with a frame and spacer, no mat. Some people frame their metals without glass since it isnt paper. All a matter of personal preference I suppose but I opted to protect mine with museum glass.
As FRO stated, a few blemishes are normal with metal prints.

Got my shipping notice for the Full Metal Falcon as well. Can't wait to see it in hand. My first metal print as well, so thanks Bloodrain for asking the questions.
Hellboy's Drive print is phenomenal. I might seriously consider snaffling that idea for my Falcon print

Looks great. Similar to what I had planned but without the frame. Should be picking my falcon up today if it arrives on schedule.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

That looks very cool.
How exactly does that work? Just sandwhich it between two panes of glass very tightly so the image holds in place by pressure? What holds it in tight enough

Opened up my metal Falcon tonight. Insane amount of care went into the packaging...it took about an hour.

Silicone on the back of the metal print (which can be removed easily without leaving marks) adheres it to the back glass holding it in place. Time will tell if the weight of the print will allow it to hold. On the off chance it doesn't my framer said they'd build a clear acrylic framed in border around the print to hold it in place. So far so good though.
