It could be the indentation between the eyes that makes them look closer. More taper on the jaw. Chin looks too rounded. The hair is going to be tough to match because Reeve's hair was so thick.

Nice PS comp Computerfly. The softening of the features and making the eyes less sunken bring this a lot closer to a youthful Reeve. Increasing the angle of the jawline will also match up better to the reference pic.

Okay, after looking at some photos, you can see Reeve has a very wavy hairline on his forehead. The hair on the CM is currently too straight across.

In this photo, I added a little bit of hair to the hairline, and I took the jawbone down a little on each side. I also smoothed the crease across the nose at the eye level.

The shadow on the right side of the face make crits very difficult. I think lens distortion/differences between the two pictures is also an issue.

I think the sculpt is there in the shadow. You can actually see the change in shadow where the cheekbone is and the ridge goes down the face, just as it should.

Well,
All I am going to say is George is a business man,. period, he is all business, and that's fine.
But when you take a out a calculator and say that in the end you are going to loose 50K and every product you make, but yet you are doing it out of pure love and bliss for the hobby, and therefore you pay people meager amounts for their work , that is another story.... something does not equate.

Let me put it this way, the whole " I am doing this out of pure love" is something we have all heard in this industry many a time.....
But hey I hope the final product is something that pleases everyone and I wish CM the best as I know good people work there.

The sculpt is fantastic. Enough said. It actually looks more like reeve to me than the actual photo of him. We're lucky to have such a masterpiece.
