My guess is, they've upped the Import fee to include some sort of handling fee, as they label the Import fee as an Airway bill?
Shipping covers Pick up and delivery. Airway bill covers Import fee and another fee that amounts to $136.30 ?

Yeah the handling and clearance fees can be ridiculous. I know DHL charges a minimum of $105 AUD to clear a package.

Catwoman was supposed to arrive today.
Current status: Stansted Airport, UK (Package available for clearance)
It's been sitting at the Airport for over 24hrs ?
I can't see it being cleared and delivered by FedEx today (Thursday)
People usually ship parcels via FedEx to take advantage of the reliable and fast
shipping service. FedEx services are expensive, but it is worth the money. ...
Clearance Delay, or “Package available for clearance” means the package was held
for examination and assessment by customs.
I really hope customs don't open up the box and package it up poorly.
Good news: Sideshow have set my account to ship using only DHL in future

Yeah, my JL WW was pulled aside by my local customs for a couple of days but other then possibly opening the shipper box, I’m not sure they went any further on the box for the bust.
I’ve had situations where they cut apart the art box and taped it back together with half the sides upside down.

No tracking update 'No scheduled delivery date available at this time.'
FedEx don't deliver on Saturday or Sunday.
Monday might be the day or it might not?
For the moment Catwoman remains in customs.
Who's knows, maybe Catwoman won't make it through customs in time for Xmas?
So far, what DHL would have achieved in 24hrs, FedEx have taken one week and counting.
Still no unboxing or review on YouTube?
Just found this thread What are Fedex playing at !!!
Got a rather expensive Statue on the way from Sideshow in
the States. It came into the UK today then fedex feel the need
to ship it of to Paris. cont. https://forums.thedigitalfix.com/for...d.php?t=446083
This is why DHL are better. They fly parcels US - UK to West Midlands airport, which appears to be smaller and more efficient. Unlike Stansted Airport, which appears to be larger and has bigger issues dealing with the amount of parcels it has to deal with.

10 days and counting.. FedEx still has my Catwoman
I like to think the piece will arrive Monday or Tuesday
The reality is, i think Xmas will get in the way, and i won't see the piece for another week or 2 or 3 or 4? ( this is FedEx after all).

Good luck. My experience with FedEx is that the longer its in the holding facility the more chances are something will go wrong.

I have sent FedEx two message's via their online message system. Auto reply states someone will reply within 24hrs. So far, nothing?
I feel like getting onto Sideshow and asking them to recall the parcel, and asking them to send a replacement via DHL
In my mind i picture a mountain of parcels in a massive room. Each day the room fills further with the onslaught of more parcel's pouring out of Jumbo's. I question, how many people work in Customs to look at the parcels? do they work 24/7 ?
I discovered this FedEx info today:
FedEx International Economy Freight is a day-
definite, customs-cleared economy service for all
heavyweight freight shipments from 68kg to 1,000kg
per item (shipment weight almost unlimited). Transit
time is typically 4 to 5 working days, backed up by the
FedEx money-back guarantee.
Prime 1 Catwoman is 36.0 lbs (16.32kg)
I wonder why Sideshow shipped my Prime 1 Catwoman FedEx Economy?

No news on mine clearing customs.
I'm been in touch with FedEx three times, and not once have they replied?
