I'm up to 1 now. I just picked up the HD-DVD addon to the 360 and the step-up is definitely amazing. I'll still pick up normal dvd's just because I don't really need low budget movies in HD.
In case no one knows, amazon.com has a deal where you buy 3 hd-dvds at once, you'll get 10% extra off all hd-dvd orders for 2007.

anyone know if 24 will eventually make the HD DVD format? i was watching the 1st season again and noticed the transfer was not as clean. i guess you start noticing imperfections on everything else after watching HD content for a while.

Haha, I was thinkint the exact same thing! I was worried I'd have to just go buy all the seasons on SD but I'm willing to wait cause I'd really like those all in HD.

Yeah, I know I'm playing catchup but I just got Serenity, Batman (holy **** is this picture amazing) and Miami Vice from Amazon. The other night I picked up Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (another great picture and I now own 4 copies of it, hah) and Bourne Supremacy.
What I feared has now come to pass, I'm addicted to HD-DVD. Both a  and a  at the same time.

24 is owned by Fox, who is Blu-Ray only for now.
