Ahahahah you?re funny just because Stan Winston overlooked that bust and the 1/4 doesn?t mean sideshow got it all right. It?s a great bust don’t get me wrong but I would match rather a life size bust of prime 1s closed mouth bust

I don't have the bust but I do have the maquette and the paint work certainly isn't amazingly accurate or anything nor is other aspects. Like no chest quills, the head pattern is just airbrush dots, etc.

there's no denying the masterpiece Prime 1 has and will deliver to us. It's mind blowing.

but discrediting the Stan Winston Studios Sideshow Predator 1:1 bust is silly. it's literally from the molds. You can't get anything closer to the film. This is it...No other Predator 1987 1:1 bust can claim this lineage. If Prime 1 made a 1:1 sure it would look much more impressive and realistic with better finishing, but it will not be from the molds.

same goes for the Maquette. I would take this Prime 1 Museum Masterline over the Sideshow EX Maquette 100 out of 100 times.

but the cool SWS Lineage of the SS Maquette, is something that this Prime 1 piece will never have.

This little bust looks amazing, but we're getting carried away if we're thinking it's some kind of grail. Maybe if they made it in 1:1 , but how much would that cost if this tiny bust was so expensive. I do however think that this will be difficult to acquire once it's sold out..... Unless Prime 1 decide to simply reissue it which is an ever present possibility at this point.

I don't have the 1:1 Sideshow Bust either, but I rather have this closed mouth 1/3 bust from P1. The paint job on the SS bust is decent, but could of been better. I don't like how it looks on the sides. (That flat shaved off look) It looks like it came out a long time ago when I look at it. Still really great though.

The sculpt of course is perfect, but it doesn't have the upper torso & shoulder canon etc.
