Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I will say this though... If SS can get quality results like this on one statue, why can't they get it on them all? The small details like the tiny brushstrokes around the hairline and the look of bloodshot eyes raises this statue to a whole new level.

It gives me confidence they will be able to reproduce the subtleties of Poison Ivy's paint job, especially her face.
it really seems that when they do marvel they mess up but seem to do good with other licences.

Do you guys honestly think that SS will mess up their first DC PF? If anything they will make sure this is top notch to draw more people into the DC line. A few more statues later, they'll pull off another Rogue and Psylocke - DC style! And who's to say this statue won't develop cracks in a few months? :-p

Nice looking statue though. Congrats to Joker fans. I just want my DC Trinity in PF before DC totally ignores QC.

Agreed. It seems that Marvel pieces always get the short end of the stick.

Having the DC license means representing the most ICONIC characters of all time.

They can’t afford to mess this up, especially with the heavy hitter characters (Sup’s, Bats, WW and so on).

Joker falls under the heavy hitter category.

A bad piece is inevitable sooner or later, but It will probably be for a lesser known character.

From my perspective, I’m happy I jumped on board for the DC line, it is what I have been waiting for. I have been on the outside looking in for years and I think now is the best time to collect SS PF’s cause they have clearly evolved and learned allot over the years while making the Marvel PF’s.

Happy collecting everyone, and lets hope that this Joker PF is the new standard for all PF’s going forward!

Not always, but very often. DC is also experiencing duds already. Green Lantern anyone?

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Not always, but quite often. Marvel pieces just seem to suffer more than other licenses.

Just opened mine up. WOW... What a great piece. The quality is just Awesome. I got 0812/1250 in the house. Displayed with the EX head. Won't bother with the pictures since everyone is posting them now.

Bring on Batman. Going to be an long wait for that one. With delays i bet it will be an May or June delivery for bats.

Worth the wait though. If SS keeps pumping statues like this with great quality i can be patient.

Cheers,
