I think a big part of why Mike lays the details of his latest relationship on so heavy is because he didn't come out until he was around 30 years old. This is all new for him while most of us had relationships back when we were in our teens and twenties. Think 30 going on 17. Make that 18...gotta stay legal.

Good point. I guess it is. I was thinking of "rare" in the sense of "few people find it" rather than "you have to sift through a lot of gravel to find the gold".
