They've got him up again on Youtube now, much more close up - there is more subtle movement to the pose than I could see before in the legs, but still not enough to make me love him sadly.

I'd say Magneto was worse but ya same idea with this. I probably wouldn't have waited 6 months to finally show something like this. I think if they had shown teases here and there within those 6 months (hints letting us know it was a museum pose) then the reception might be better. Letting hype build up isn't always a good thing.

I still like the previous Silver Surfer more.

To give credit where it's due, the physique looks great. Bel did a great job with what was expected of him.

I don't think it's a bad sculpt, its bad art direction. He isn't the AD.

A few more pics and different angle. I really like Doctor Strange and Silver Surfer next to each other. Having them together is also a good indicator if the price is ridiculous or not once the price is revealed. If it costs more than Strange, it still won’t be worth more than Strange (the sculpting and detail, the 2 different fabrics in the cape, the dynamic pose), and I’m saying that as someone who likes both statues.

I really like it a lot. The only issue I have is he looks a little on the small side and I'm not sure what qualifies it as a comiquette.
