When Eric Tan's 'A New Hope' went up there didn't seem to be anyone here interested, which is understandable given the price and that it only comes framed. Here is the info just in case though...
Code DMR15 will get you free shipping

This Empire print is better than the New Hope one. But still not for me. But curious what he'll do for Return of the Jedi.
Those other ones are a bit too clever for me. Trying to strike gold like those Olly Moss prints.
I think I only want to see that Budich Jedi and if Martin Ansin attempts Original Trilogy prints. After that I'll probably be done with Star Wars prints/posters. I did have an idea for Mark Englert if I won the Golden Ticket. I don't know how much I really need that though.

Yeah it ain't cheap. FWIW the frame-up on ANH is really well executed and the overall piece is huge. Based on my personal experience framing things I'd say it's probably a $250-$300 value, which makes the print itself around $150. Compared to other Disney releases that seems pretty standard for something of this size and limited run. I think when you look at it as a whole it's a fair deal but no question it's a bigger financial hit forking that over all at once, which isn't something most of us are accustomed to doing. I know I'm not. The only reason I can justify my purchase is I planned for it by selling off other things in my collection that I didn't want as much in favor of this.

The problem with frame jobs on sold prints is that everyone will have the same frame and a good majority of people will want their own frame job. As difficult as that is. So it's almost extra money wasted for some people.

Well I do think they chose the perfect frame for a Star Wars print.

Yeah me too. I'm just too big a fan of this film to pass something this good up. Eng really nailed the feel of the film with this. Love that he went with an environment setting.

Now to decide what version, black and white is classic but I'm leaning towards blue.
