You are, unfortunately, probably correct.

I said it a month or two back; I just find it very hard to believe that all 1,000 of these are spoken for. I'd like to get a set but if all of a sudden magically there are some available right around the time these start shipping for like $200-$300+ over the initial selling price, I won't be buying.

That wouldn't be surprising. I'm also expecting to see collectors split the set and sell off either Death or Thanos with all the switch outs. There's definitely a demand for that.

$200 more than list price wouldn't be too bad in my opinion. I think that price would get you to what you'd have to pay total to buy Death and Thanos separately without the switch outs. However, I get it though. It's frustrating.

Welcome to the forum. I'm about a year into collecting and at first, it was somewhat overwhelming. Lots of companies and different scales to choose from.

The EX Thanos MAQ is enough for me personally as far as a modern looking Thanos is concerned (I also have the OG XM Thanos). However, I definitely would have bought Mistress Death separately if she would've came with all of her switch out parts. Since she didn't, I passed on everything. Do you have any 1/4 Thanos statues in your collection? If you do, that should help ease any regrets you have on not POing this.

Is this the fastest a XM piece has ever shipped? (once it does)

Seems like it. PO window closed at the end of May and it's shipping out probably at the end of September or early October if they keep to their estimated shipping window.

The turnaround time is great as long as QC isn't negatively impacted. I didn't expect them to pick up the pace so much towards year end. I'm not sure if this is the new norm for them or maybe just a push to catch up.

Nothing yet because I’m trying to land “THE” right Silver Surfer first whom I like more and then fill in supporting cast .
