Yes to both of those, Fast five came out the day before Thor. Was a great movie also.

We get lucky sometimes but more often not.

Sad but true. We typically have to wait forever. Quite often, I can order a DVD or BD from Amazon in the US and have it shipped here about the same time the movie is released at the cinema.

And the wait for the actual DVD release is even longer. That's why I buy 90% of my DVDs and BDs from Amazon. I just get sick of waiting

Ain't that the truth.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Had a feeling you might I'm more of a 13th Warrior kinda guy as far as Vikings go. This one was just a little to out there for me, but I do like Mads.

Negative test audience reaction is one of the strongest forms of recommendation.
...oh, and the rejected score for the EATERS version, by Graeme Revell, is a fine score. As was the Goldsmith replacement. Win Win for soundtrack collectors though the Revell is grey market only.
Eaters of the Dead you say We need more Vking movies. Pathfinder was a bit disappointing, and Outlanders wasn't exactly a Viking movie really.

Water for Elephants 6/10 wasn't as much of a chick flick as I thought it was going to be but I think I was menstrating by the end of the movie.
