Hah. We stayed home and watched the original Halloween on Blu-Ray. I should have gone and gotten some beer, though.
We didn't have any trick-or-treaters, either. I guess apartment complexes are too dangerous for kids to go door-to-door.

We took the kids trick or treating after I got home from work, then went to a neighbors for a few hours to hang out. It was a good night.

Very cool! Did the kids get a good haul? That seemed to be my dad's favorite part of Halloween...going through our bags and claiming that the candy he liked wasn't safe for us. We lived on a military base -- the chance of any of our neighbors slipping us something drugged or booby-trapped was pretty much nil.

Not a bad haul, I checked all the candy out to make sure it all was safe. My kids aren't "candy fiends", so this is a real treat for them. Speaking of kids....you have any interest in children?

I'm down for this also, Doug.. I can pull something out of my hat tonight.. can you pm me details on this?
Definitely sounds fun.. and challenging. If I'm too late to take part in it (if there's a deadline of sorts), let me know.
Oh.. and good luck!

It's definitely going to be a challenge, as November is probably the busiest month of the year for me.
Wish me luck!

As in, adopting them? I thought about it at one point, but I don't know that I'd be a very good parent. I love my nieces and nephews, though, and love spending time with them.
I even thought about being an elementary school teacher at one time, but I wasn't a dedicated enough student to pull off college.

Just got in from seeing "Changeling" with Cyn.. had some trick or treaters come by before we headed out.
Movie was an excellent true story period piece of L.A. in the 1940's.
