Personally, I'm fond of the idea someone offered a few pages back of Magneto controlling the tentacle. That's what immediately popped into my mind upon first viewing at least.

 Yes there's a reason why my ss preorders went from 25 a year down to 1or 2.  the way they keep increasing prices. It will be interesting to see how they and the industry will survive long term. I see a comic book style crash coming in the future. There's just way too much supply and then the prices keeps increasing way too fast.
