There sneakers hanging off a theater marquee in 3-d? I have a headache for that? Asgard was beautiful enough on it's own, it didn't need it. The brilliant fights were so col, I found the strain of 3-d to detract. Liked the way Thor looked, liked the hammer effects. Plot felt kinda clunky. Not one of my favorite Marvel movies.

How would you have rated the movie without the headache? I really didn't want to see this film in 3D but I feel it enhanced the parts in Asgard showing it in all it's glory!

That had a lot to do w/ it. I wear glasses and having to wear 2 pair at the same time was unbelievably uncomfortable. I thought I was taking the kids to a regular, non 3-d show, but I must have read it worng in the paper. I wanted to take them off for the town non-action scenes but even they were all 3-D. I will never see another 3-D movie again. I loathed the experience. Asgard was beautiful, but I truly feel she could have shined on her own.

Marvel decided to go 3D for all of it's movies after Thor had finished, so none of it was shot in 3D. Best you can hope for it that situation is for it to look just okay, but it can at worst really detract from the movie. From what I have read, it's decent at best for Thor. I'm seeing it in 2D.

Thor 7/10
Very nicely done movie with some great fanboy moments though not at the top of the comic book movie list.
Superman 1
Superman 2
The Dark Knight
Batman (Burton)
Spidey 1
Spidey 2
X1
X2
Iron Man
...were all better.
Entertaining movie but it dragged just a bit in the middle taking it down a point.

The Horde 8/10 (very entertaining movie but the ending sucked balls)
A French made movie about police doing a raid and an outbreak occurs where Zombies appear. It's a very graphic & gory movie with a bit of humor to it.
*Spoiler alert* the ending sucked after the cop and drug dealer went through. Quite frankly it was a let down. And what happen to all the zombies afterwards (there must have been 1000s at one point)? They weren't killed off & when they left the building, not one zombie in sight!

Like protector2814, I didn't think the theater I picked was showing it in 3D. I went with my cousin and even he was NOT happy it was in 3D. We tried to find a nearby theater that had it in 2D but none were available. We both saw it and agreed the 3D effects were fine. I too wear glasses but just wear the 3D glasses over them. Doesn't bother me at all.

Thor 8/10
Very enjoyable. Surprisingly humorous.. my gf loved it so those of you worried that the significant other won't enjoy it, you can rest easy. I am now a big fan of Chris Hemsworth
