I really enjoy looking at both of them. The muscle sculpt on Guile is insane. Love his pants, tank top, belt and dog tags.
Bison still rivals all of my PCS pieces as one of my favorites.
He is massive and I love his clothes, pose, sculpt... And the cape is beyond cool (Ex).
I agree that if you point a flashlight directly at Bison the cloth looks thin. That (to me) is the statues only flaw.
But in natural light I cannot see through it at all.
But to each their own I suppose.
I have a few gripes about Ken and Zangief... But I do not intent to jump on here and start mindlessly berating the statues.

How old were those listings? I ask because I realize that for a time Guile had dropped well below its retail.. That I wasn't disputing.
But from my observation Guile (and Bison) had climbed back to their retail value shortly after SS sold out.
It wouldn't surprise me if Non Repaint Chun Li never retained/retains its value.
It'll be interesting to see if the PCS Repaint versions climb anywhere near the EX Chun because they all have the 'Pretty Face'.
Edit: Not that value is paramount to me. I buy these because I love them, and have no intention of selling them.
Simply discussing the secondary market for fun.

Remember "handcuffs"?
The true companion piece to Chun Li IMO.

My man brought up "handcuffs". Only the real SF pimps know about that. I use to do the fierce, roundhouse flash kick glitch just before I was getting I lost to cpu...good times

I second that bro. I loved my Bison, Guile and Chunner. I think they're just underrated due to their ES. I mean whom else better to fix Chunner than The Man himself. But still no love regardless flaws or not......too many Chunners = surplus = lesser flip value

The problem with Bison has absolutly nothing to do with his es...it has everything to do with the mixed media, and partly his sculpt. The current outfit for the leader of Shadoloo is an injustice to him

Once fixed the chun li looks great, I have been a hater of the tights since the beginning, but the ones actually produced compared to the proto at sdcc is miles better, I may still keep them on, but I may get bored one day and take them off, luckily she has so many out there that I could probably get another cheap if I decide to do it.
I lost interest once bison hit, but it also had to do with that I sold most of my SF pieces, except vega chun li and guile, so I had no real attachment to bison...unless he was perfect, which to me was not the case.
Only flaw in guile was his pose, I would have preferred more of an action shot, but the sculpt and paints are really nice.
