They also said the new Deadpool PF was selling like crazy months ago and the EX is still available. Who knows what's true with SSC? You can be certain that anything they say will be with the purpose of pushing more REGs. That's what businesses do. We won't know anything for certain until we finally see the ES on the REG.

Yes very true. And sideshow isn't smart if that's the case because people will stop buying if they know the es is going to be blown up lol.

I personally would never purchase a REG unless I knew the ES. If the ES is high on the REG, it'll definitely sell for less than $1200 in the aftermarket.
