Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Hey all, just picked up THOR at MIDTOWN COMICS in NYC. I was having doubts about buying him, but thanks to the uploaded shots here on this site, I made up my mind.
I dropped by the shop today and after seeing him in person I just had to spend the bucks. Its now my favorite BOWEN. He just jumps to the top of my collection. Especially when using its swinging arm (you get two) the sucker's huge. I'm thinking of adapting his 2nd hand as a key chain.
BUT A WARNING TO INTERESTED BUYERS OUT THERE:
I had to go thru 3 statues before I got one that was perfect.
The 1st: wobbled when standing in its place.
The 2nd: noticed a chip on the inside of his wrist band. when it was being put together in the shop.
The 3rd: was fine.
PS: when I got it home and put it together the "CHIP occurred in his wrist band on the inside side, as I was putting it on. its tiny and unnoticable... but just wanted to WARN.

Great shot with the SUBBY VS. OLD SHELL-HEAD (always one of my favorites battles in the '60s. Didn't realize how big it was, I just picked up the THOR and its huge. You got me thinking about picking it up now. I don't know if I show thanks you and curse you out. Anyway great idea.

I got #171. The only comment I have is the base is so light other than that the piece is a definite homerun.

If the value of this piece goes to a thousand I will not be surprised.
