So I couldn’t hesitate no more. I kinda regret hesitating on the PCS versions but I am loving these so just bought all four. My favorite TMNT set is the OG SS comiquette but these look similar with equally great poses. Can’t wait

Yes sir! That's the exact series I was referring to! I still have them in a box somewhere. They definitely had a more mature adult style to them, opposed to the cartoonie look from the show. Nothing wrong with different variations of the characters from time to time, ___although anything newer I've glanced at these days.... is pretty lousy & uninspiring.

I wanted SS to rerelease their original comiquettes with that paint app. Didn't get too much support for the idea...

I agree, they look super bad-ass in that picture! Maybe if these sell well enough IS makes a second batch with the muted tone.

I was under the impression that the red masks are actually going to be that muted green color. Where have you guys seen otherwise?

The product photos show the normal skin color, the only difference is the red eye masks.

It's downright false advertising if you ask me. Lol... To be honest though, while they do look pretty cool with this variant darker tone, If I had to decide if there was actually a choice, I still would of went with the full live color paint app. Specially being the only turtle statues I'll have in my collection, I'd want them green and colorful.
