Is this pose final? Who decides on the pose and how is it chosen? Just curious. I'm guessing Jerry?

The pose is ok, except when you consider it's a walking pose, and his feet don't look like they're walking. I think these sort of "transition" poses don't translate too well to static statues, especially in Gouken's case as he has so many cool poses at the beginning or end of his movements. Why use a frame of animation of him walking, that when viewed still - it doesn't look like he's walking? It's a candid shot, except he's not doing anything interesting. Think about it. Take the Guile statue for example. Imagine his pose is a half second after he takes the comb out of his pocket. Not nearly as interesting or iconic as having his hands and the comb up to his hair.

Would have preferred the pose in my avatar especially, or this one:

The one IN my post? If so, yeah, I think it's a good representation of Gouken, indicative of one of the most serene fighters.

I'll buy Gouken no matter what. Second only to Akuma as a favorite (and probably would be my favorite if he had been around as long as Akuma).

That's cool. To each his own. Just stating opinions. I guess I'm in the minority, maybe...

Is it a coincidence Gouken won this poll? Or did Jerry follow it intently?

If he did, we got so close to a Fei Long

Same

I'm happy somebody is making Gouken at all. Multimedia statues are so cool. This is going to be multimedia right guys?

MIXED media, yes. All of the 1:4 Street Fighter line is mixed media.

Unfortunately for me, I'm liking the sneaked pose less and less as the days go by. But as I said, I love Gouken, so it's a must buy.
