I have a strong feeling it will actually be better than the SWS piece. Reason being, Sideshow knows a TON more about sculpting the Predator now as opposed to back then, not that the SWS piece had any defects in the sculpt... But Sideshow no doubt was trained on how to properly execute the P1 after working so close with SWS.
Im really looking forward to this piece as it will find its way into my collection. Pending any future QC issues and shabby paint app. I really hope they don't let us down.

Same here don't like the pose. The one I love is the ss wolf LSF just amazing! From pose, ex, to base and whip. Now in time when more comes out I might be able to get a wolf someday saying if prime 1 doesn't make one as good or better. But wolf Lsf now is my ultimate predator so far. Very excited to see what this new one will be. With new lessons learn from the old and new technology and experiences this will be looking good. Is this confirm its prime 1?

It also depends who sculpts the statue, there are many artists working for sideshow. Some produced amazing statues some are OK. My favorite predator and alien sculptor is Steve Wang. Interesting to see how this new artist's predator turns out.

All of a sudden Sideshow are the best, most accurate, Predator sculptors?
There will never be another piece touched by the great man.

looking at the base, I can already tell it won't be better than the first. Sure, the pose could be better, but that's about it. The 1/4 Bio is perfect in paint and sculpt. I don't see that aspect being beaten either. I would still get this if it's a good piece though. Problem is it will be at least $1200, if not more.

Why, this isn't a P2? Also, this isn't an LSF, well not 1/2 at any rate. Sideshows 1/4 Predators have always been a bit oversized, and all the cooler for it imo.

I thought Col was referring to Stan Winston himself, not KPH.

You can't help but get excited about another predator statue tease! Looks 1:4 to me, from the limited view the pose (well the legs at least) looks similar to the p2 with the left leg up and the right down.

I had it for a while Col and I gave it time to grow on me but I ultimately sold it.It never make any sense to me personally.
That said I remember vividly what a fantastic job they did with the paintapplications.
Glad to see people getting another chance to own this awesome beast and hoping for something equally as impressive quality-wise!
