Seems the rooted hair will only be available in the set with 2 figures.
That's a shame and makes this a pass for me. Would have liked the one below with rooted hair.

Hope they aren't making this the norm.

Yea I saw that PB.
It didn't sink in the first time I'd read it a couple pages back.

I'll have to think about it but really prefer rooted hair with fabric clothes.

So QS did a Q&A event with some YouTuber, and went on record to state that their 1/6 piece would not be overpriced, but in line with other "high end" 1/6 figures......but look what they did.....they created these arbitrary "bundles" that actually artificially push up the price.

I could (kinda) understand JND's duo Batman statue, but this is just a duplicate for the sake of a duplicate.

I guess with these companies, it's all in the small print.....

Given that on various threads many where throwing price ranges from $800 to $1,000 USD for one figure, the price for the rooted set isn’t that unexpected.

I for one was hoping it’ll cap out at around $500 per figure, but I understand the issue as most don’t want two figures of an almost identical figure.

But this is Ledger Joker and you can never have too much of a good thing

This won’t be my first duplicate, triplicate, or quadruplets of a character in my collection, but at least in those cases they’re usually different movies. As I seem to have too many Wonder Woman’s, Spider-Man’s, Thor and Iron Man figures etc.

I think the sculpted looks great, and whilst I agree to some extent that the rooted set is just duplication, like hot toys you might be able to find them being sold separately, or sell one of them if getting the rooted

Out of curiosity, what are some common issues with rooted hair? Does the hair spray ever lose its hold? Color fade? Hair fall out?

Over time the Joker's hair slowly fades and falls out. It's called aging. It's amazing what they can do these days
I assume the same applies to silicone portraits. Over time they dry out and turn wrinkly

Next you'll say they get creaky joints and prone to falling.
