Cool.... don't be in any rush, the garment is plastic...
I'd be careful if using the blow dryer... just to be safe
Now the water... IMO wont warp like the BD.. but then you have to clean the water off to keep spots from forming too
but its a pain to use hot water.. it has to be hot enough to get the garment to stretch,
its not very easy to be done but can be done
Keep us up dated please..oh... post pics too

Congratulations! I am pleased to see others post photos. People need to see how consistent the production run is, and judging from your photos it looks consistent.

I got mine the other day and removed the clothing with no issues. I had a certain amount of trepidation after reading your post so I took my time. No paint sticking, no problems.

The only thing I had wrong with the statue is that the hair piece had one of the locks broken off. I am trying to get a replacement from SS. Also, the sword was slightly curved but after soaking in hot water and then bending back it looks good now.

Love the statue!

Not to close... 5-6 inches away, swipe several times, never stopping in one spot,
you want the heat to be even all the time.. not just in one spot, use some rubber gloves if you got them
I use them all the time when I handle me girls.. less chances of paint sticking to your fingers or leaving fingerprints on the paint
(N' heat left at one spot can warp the plastic..so building up the heat slowly and working it is best IMO)
most paint should cure for 30days IMO.. before ever touching it.
Plus... your hands/fingers have oil.. that eat paint..also..they are like sandpaper..so handling your statues should be kept to a minim.
Hope that helps.
