When I shipped the item to you, there was NO damage to the statue at all. I meticulously protected the statue from damage prior to shipping it. Not only was the statue in his original styrofoam, protective shell that such statues come in, but it was also in its original box, with said box wrapped in bubble-wrap, surrounded by peanuts AND paper. The statue had little to no room to be knocked around etc in the shipping process. You didn't ask for insurance, and regrettably it's within your power to break (or "crack", as you're saying) the statue and ask for a refund. I would've RATHER you'd just say "can I have my money back, and I'll send back the statue" and I would've done so rather than you break my statue to get a refund, thus leaving me with a broken statue which I can't sell. I'm saying again: I have already partially refunded you, and I will give you back half of the money you spent on this statue (thus, more than half, since I've already paid you some of it back, which I shouldn't have), provided you ship it to the California address, but a) you didn't ask for insurance on this piece, nor did I offer it.. nor do I EVER, and I never have problems like this and b) this statue WASN'T damaged when it was shipped out, so if it was damaged during shipment (highly unlikely, as I trust my shippers and I babied the Hell out of that thing to make sure it was protected for shipment to you), that is out of my hands. You should honestly just take the $100 or so bucks I'm willing to send you, in addition to the $20 I've already sent, as the statue isn't sellable now since the damage it's supposedly received after being in your possession.
Again, I'm willing to refund you another $100 (note: he paid $200 total, and I've already refunded him $20 for taking an additional week to ship it out), when I shouldn't have to. The statue wasn't damaged when I shipped it, I find it highly unlikely with the amount of care I put into its shipping that it was damaged DURING the shipping process, AND on top of that, you didn't insure it to begin with.
Thanks!
Ryan
